*New Release*
The Festive Treat is a medium-sized apple measuring 7 to 9 cm (2.5 to 3"), distinguished by a vivid red blush over a greenish-yellow base. Its firm, white flesh is juicy and moderately crisp, offering a balanced combination of sweet and subtly tart flavours.
Ripening around mid to late September. Festive Treat is equally suited for fresh eating, juicing and baking, and stores around 1 to 2 months in cold storage. Released by the University of Saskatchewan Fruit Program in 2010, Festive Treat performs best in sheltered sites due to its comparatively lower cold hardiness among USask cultivars.
