Raspberries — Zone 2/3

Few things beat a sun-warmed raspberry picked straight off the cane on a Prairie summer morning. Our three floricane (summer-bearing) varieties: the record-sized Red Mammoth, the wildly productive Red Bounty, and the honey-sweet golden Honeyqueen are all proven Zone 2–3 performers that stretch your harvest from early July through mid-August.

The two reds are University of Saskatchewan releases: bigger, better-yielding, and more flavourful than the old Prairie standards. The Alberta-developed Honeyqueen is in a class of her own, soft, golden-orange, and sweet in a way that stops first-time tasters in their tracks. All three shine fresh, frozen, or in a very good jam.

Shipped bare-root. Trellis for best results, prune old canes each fall, and enjoy for decades.
