Marshal Zhukov is the largest variety of pear we grow, reaching up to 200g. Its yellow skin is adorned with a brownish-red blush, imparting a sour-sweet flavour under a subtle perfume. This pear has proven to be very popular at local tasting events, do not hesitate to plant this amazing prairie pear tree!
Pears start to ripen from late August to early September and can last up to a month in cold storage. It was aptly named after the legendary Soviet commander of World War II.
